Our first visit to Tresco was in 1961 having landed on St Marys by a wonderful old seven seat Rapide biplane, after landing on Tresco by boat collected by horse and trap for our trip to our B & B Our accomodation was a little primative but wonderful with a WC at the bottom of the garden! water was supplied in a basin and Jug in the morning to our room. Since then we have returned about another Ten times, sadly no horse and trap or Jugs of water. Progress has caught up with Tresco. Think we like it!!
I've been looking for information I needed for a long time, but only your site has helped me to find it. Thank you very much. I'm sure to tell my friends about you. http://soft-oem.org/
I turn on the volume, look at the panoramic views and am transported to my beloved island. To hear nothing but the waves and the birds, especially the oyster catchers, which to me are the very SOUND of Tresco! " Peep! Pe pe peep!"
We`ve been on to Tresco twice a year since 1987 because it`s a good place for our children and now young grandchildren ." A last piece of England" well said the late and much lamented Richard Barber.
I went to Tresco ten years ago, from Aber Wrach in France but I couldn't see the north west point. I Was at Tresco this July, and I couldn't sea this point !!! Because our ship had to leave to soon !!! If you have photo of the north west coas and can show them to me , it wil great ; sorry about my bad english.

Tresco is a very special virus, if you get it it is for life. Symptoms include a delighted smile, an uninhibited 'hallo' to those you meet, a lust for adventure, relaxation and eating hugely. These all occur without a care for the weather, what you are wearing, or the state of your hair...
